After running courses for 4 years, SMU has recognized that those learners who have their own machines are significantly more skillful 1 year after attending a live course than those who do not have a machine. These learners are truly harvesting the rewards of their investment in their own education!
Their resulting skills benefit their patients, their colleagues who refer to them, and their communities.
As a result, SMU has decided that SMU course attendees are required to have their own ultrasound machine.
We trust this will serve you, your patients and your communities very well.

"Thanks again for a great course. The content was perfect and the access to machines and repetition was so helpful for me. I feel 100X more confident scanning patients now. I learned a ton."

It was amazing!! Even though it was my first time learning ultrasound, I was given enough information, practice, and support to learn a phenomenal amount. I'm now able to practice on my own with some confidence.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Level 1 course. I would rate it at par with the best courses I have done in Europe. Frank and his team are indeed very good instructors. Their commitment was something to write home about. Total bang for the buck.
